Marys River Watershed Council
The Marys River Watershed Council’s primary purpose is to promote broad and informed public participation in ecologically and economically sound sustainability and improvement of natural resources and environmental quality in the Marys River Watershed. The Marys River is one of five major Coast Range tributaries of the Willamette River. It drains 310 square miles of forested, agricultural, and urban lands. The watershed Council has historically supported at least five working committees who work on a project-by-project basis. These committees include: -
Land, Air, and Water Use: A standing committee has the primary goal to respond to land, air and water use issues and concerns brought up by watershed residents.
